What could the UK real estate market do next?

UK and global real estate is a “liquid, volatile” asset that offers institutional investors the prospect of improved returns as it emerges from a period of undervaluation.

Achal Gandhi, Chief Investment Officer at CBRE Investment Management, stated that an impending capacity crunch is likely to present further opportunities for investors.

Gandhi was speaking last week to members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) at the annual Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s local government conference; the LGPS is responsible for the retirement savings of nearly seven million British workers and has around total assets worth £415bn.
