Alternative investment returns drove good-sized increases in investment returns for some this quarter, according to the latest round of Q3 results.
Everest Group, the Bermuda-based insurer, said it had a “Sharpened focus” on incomes, which had paid off.
Net investment income increased to $540 million versus $496 million in the prior year quarter, which was driven by a larger asset base and strong alternative investment returns.
